Looks like Ive found a renewed interest in the blog. For the longest time I found myself spectating. Watching others. And then I found myself using services that connect people and became more of a participant. I’m hoping to make this blog something relevant and effective. Follow my progress.
Cheers,
Steven

I have noticed a few issues with the latest iPhone software.
The first issue is the carrier connection. I’ve noticed that when I go into fringe coverage areas – like my basement – I seem to be losing the carrier a lot more frequently. And then when I re-enter areas with better coverage, the phone hangs in “Searching…” mode. I then need to powercycle my phone to get the carrier back, which happens immediately without delay.
Does anyone know if there were any differences in signal gain settings between 3.0 and 3.1 or if there were any other setting changes that may have caused this to happen?
Second issue I’ve noticed is battery performance. Before the upgrade I could get well into a second day before charging. Now I’m finding it necessary to charge in the evening of the first day. Same question as above – ha anyone noticed any changes between versions that may have cause this?

Upon returning home from the RCMP Stables today…
“Daddy, did you know that the RCMP uses Hanoverians? They used to use Quaterhorses but now they use Hanoverians.”
Love it.
